Hi

Had the green monster out for a long run yesterday (400 miles) and before I left home I thought the exhust was blowing from under the car. By the time I got to my destination it sounded like a very very loud sports exhust in side the car, out side it sounded err!! Got it home ok and jacked it up this afternoon, to find that one of the pipes (off side) from the cat was cracked all round at the front of the bracket attaching it to the other side. At some time in it's life it had done this before as there is some bad welding on the rear of the bracket.

Has any one got these pipes new, used, or stanless etc? I have done a temp repair but don't know how long it will hold!

Or remove the section and TIG it up properly if its already in stainless? Even fit a sleeve over the top if there is room?

Bl**dy weird - mine went on the same side in the same place on the same day.

I'm replacing the whole system both sides, ready early next week. I've heard Fernhurst have sets, but are charging a couple of quid for them.
