i have attached some pics of my travel to greece in the cerb this summer, at the end of my stay the clutch went and we had to recondition it there as the new unit i ordered from the UK didnt fit the car.
Note that on the motorway the hard shoulder is used as a normal lane
but the best bit is the country roads, with massive hairpins no safety reservations, road marks or lights, and most importantly no traffic, it makes for a hell of a drive!!

Must admit that the Greek roads are really great for driving on, took my Impreza there this summer and its was so much more fun than through the Alps, so much quieter (though must admit I didn't go for mountain passes to nowhere)
The road from Igoumenitsa to Kalambaka is one of the best roads for driving on for great views and actually going somehwere on your journey...

Very true, i went from igoumenitsa to patras, beautiful scenery with constant view of the sea and islandsbut there are no lights and at some sections no road markings either (see pics) and of course no barriers to stop you going down a couple of hundred feet. Obviously the scooby is made for roads like this but in the cerbera it can get very very scary
, especially when it gets dark
