The alarm in my Cerb keeps going off for no apparent reason. It happened twice last night, and once already today. Anyone have any suggestions as to why?

TIA,

Jo

I think the alarm will go off if the battery gets very low. You didn't leave the lights on last night ?

Hi,

I had problems very resently with the alarm going of for no apparant reason. However I was having problems with the automatic closing/opening of the windows when opening the door. The dealer had to change both reed switches in the doors to cure the window problem.

It also cured the alarm problem, I believe that the reed swich being faulty was intermittently signalling to the alarm that the door was open and hense setting the alarm off.

Could this be your problem?

That would explain it, I have been having the same problem with my drivers door! Will get a replacement reed switch asap. Thanks Dave.
