Right, that's it, I've had enough of my temp gauge being a prolific liar and causing a brown trouser moment every time I get stuck in the slightest bit of traffic. So, I've decided to replace it with a more accurate type.

Thing is, I don't really want to make the console and binnacle look gash by having some manky gauge there.

Can anyone recommend a nice gauge that will work well, fit right and look OEM (or similar) please? BTW, my gauges are the white backdrop ones.

Cheers

I've ordered a mocal one from burtons.
It should fit straight in, but cant guarantee it being more accurate, as its still the capillary type. Try re routing your capillary tube, it may help.

My old gauge broke, and rather than send it off to speedy cables thought i'd try an alternative with out spending the earth on a digital gauge.

SPA make a really nice digital temp/oil pressure 2 in 1, do a search on google, its about 150quid I think and come with all the wiring and sensors.

I think that's the one!

Did you need any other parts other than the gauge kit? How easy is it to fit?

Thanks thumbup
