Hi Liam.

Have you seen the 4.5 in the classifieds ? It's in at £14k with 21k on the clock. Might be worth seeing if he'll allow you a grand to get the stone chips and wheels done.

thats exactly what I thought! Yes I am looking at coming back to the tvr fold, but to be honest was swaying more towards a T350t. But the cerb is still in my blood! So no-one knows any history on the car in question? Im going down to look at it around 11am. For that price id rather a 4.5 for the better stuff and tunability. We shall see!wink

Liam, I've just noticed, further down on that Autotrader page, is A 2003 53 plate car at £18K.

One's £3k over book and one's £3k under smile

Your the first person to mention that one, which surprises me, because I think the price is OK, even more so if you take the Red Rose in to consideration.

I think there's a late 4.2 in as well at £20.5K.

That Red one on the trader's a bargain, presuming all these cars are HPI clear obviously.

I saw your thread about your old Cerb feeling claustrophobic, the later cars with the sun visors on the cabin side of the roll bar feel more roomy, as they take the "letterbox" windscreen away.

Not sure what year that happened or if it's just the lightweights...Anyone ? smile

I'm the same. One of the things I love about the Cerb is the fact that you really feel like a part of it when you're driving. That and the fact that everything just falls to hand smile

Mine has, they're attached to the roll bar. Must be a "luxury" pack smile

I've just found the original PH release on the LW here
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/tvr/cerbera/newCerber...
And by the looks of it, anything 2000 onwards with the new front & rear lights is a LW

well I went to look at the blue one today, very clean looking car, and had lots of history from dream machines, fernhurst, mole valley and Henly. It wasnt however very good to drive! the engine would not tick over properly and would stall if left to its own devices, and it would miss and go all lumpy when driven slowly/softly. My first impressions were the throttle pots needing a good fettle and tune up, but looking through the history revealed it had this problem before, had had various ecu's tried as water got into it, and I dont think it go repaired properly ever? e springs were very weak! It had never had the clutch done according to the s/h which i thought was amazing at 50k! However I did feel it would be on the list soon! The clutch also felt very soft unlike my old one as if thThe car came from Leatherhead from a guy needing money apparently!this is what the dealer told me! lol! What annoyed me a bit was the usual dellboy bull you get sometimes! ie. of course its had a full engine rebuild so you know you're not going to have that to worry about blah blah blah! No history to prove this at all! I might have to take a trip up to see James Agger and have a chat with him about the two cars (Cerbera preferebly 4.5, or T350t)!
