Can anyone suggest somewhere that can sort out my engine mounts on the cerb who knows what there doing ? I normally use Ian at torque RVT but its an hour and a half drive to get to him, hopefully this is just a quick adjust.

I dont know if any else had this problem - the drivers side exhaust manifold seems to be almost touching the fibreglass in the engine bay, and has burnt through some of the heatshield, i've tried adjusting the engine mount on that side ( and the other ) but it only made a fractions difference. Any suggestions on how to get the engine to move over ? Its definatley wrong as the airbox on the same side is / has been rubbing slightly on the body work.

Paul.

Chances are the engine mounts are 'soft' or worn out and have too much play in them. Replacing will be the only answer. The only person I know of in the Derby area is Joos oF TCS, but not sure if he is doing "servicing" type work at the mo...try giving him a call http://www.track-car-solutions.co.uk/

He doesnt do servicing/repairs anymore, other wise i'd still take mine to him as hes only about 2 miles away.

Mine goes to TrackvRoad, who are light years away to me....in Clitheroe. Well rocommended though, but even further for you than for me. There is RT Racing in Sheffield if you want to give them a try.

Going to give in one more try myself, failing that I'll have to bite the bullet and take it to Ian at RVT. I dont fancy using RT Racing as i wasnt impressed when i used them on the chim, nor with his 300GBP quote to wax oil the cerb !
