Well after a weekend of much soul searching, and with something new on the way,its time to part with the Cerb.It was,nt an easy choice and i,ve thought of all ways in which to keep it,but its not viable for me.I will put it in the classifieds in the forthcoming week once it has come back from Austecs with its new starter.I will give a full run down on everthing that has been done to it during my ownership.I wont go completely as this forum will still be my first port of call to find out whats going on.Thanks once again for all the help ive recieved over the last few years and the people i,ve met.

Of course, but you do know that if you break down on said trip(s) in your new reliable american tank, that you will be mercilessly ribbed for all eternity.

Seriously Mark, shame to see you go but do make sure you hang around in these ere parts - look forward to meeting the "replacement" on a TR soon - oh and of course I'll still be bugging you for advice on the Land Rover forum anyway (fuel tank is finally back in by the way redface).

John it was a very, very, very hard decision. In an ideal world i would have liked to have kept it.But i just dont have any more available space, plus the cost of maintaining the fleet, which the Cerb happened to be the dearest of the lot.I know it may not be a lot to some. But i do feel proud to know that i,ve owned one.It had always been my aim to own one and i did.smile

Mark,

There is a picture of your car on some Croydon Facebook Group! Forget which one. They Describe it as a Tuscan Speed Six, some of the comments are funny (not about your Cerbie). I'll see if I can find it and do a screen grab, be something to keep for the memories maybe?
