With a SBC 6.3 motor on an Edlebrock manifold etc, i can cross one of those of the list, my 6.3 LS Cerb was quicker, it didnt really rev or no point, and the gearshift in the Ultima left alot to be desired. Brakes were a bit pants unless red hot. Looked cool but that was it.

Sorry to go o/t slightly but how does the power in your Cerb compare to a standard AJP 4.5? Does the gearing change the 0 - 100, 0 - 150 and top speed significantly?

Questions, questions...... wink

So far...no probs whatsoever. I am changing the final drive ratio for the 3.08 and putting the close ratio 5th in at the mo, but this is to refine rather than replace. Gearbox was ready Friday afternoon so will pick up this week, and the diff is done and in. The diff bearings were due as they were starting to pit(once they were out you could see.), but it wasnt noisy yet. It did give me a chance to have a really good look around, nothing seems to be touching rubbing, or burning. I reckon the new gearing will really give her a performance boost as previously @6200rpm 4th =135mph 5th=202mph, the new 4th 150/ 5th 188mph, so will shift into the meaty bit of power as opposed to the massive step before. Mine is around LS7 stock power levels and the gear ratio's of the current Corvette (no 6th but that is overdrive.), But maybe 500kgs less? so that should give a clue!

I think its a testiment to your build that you've had vew few teething troubles.

Are you going to go into the conversion production market?
