OK, sorry to the Admin if my last post on the subject came across as an advert but that wasn't the intention...

I'm not offering anything for sale here, but out of interest if I had a private plate on the Cerbera I'm about to sell overseas, and that private plate kind of spelt "Cerb" is it wrong for me to let this plate disappear or should I make the effort to transfer it and sell it?

I have no interest in dealing in private plates; to be honest I have no interest in bothering to make money from it (apart from covering my costs on the transfer etc.)

To clarify my question, I’m not selling it!!! But would anyone theoretically be interested in a private plate the kind of spells Cerb? Should I make sure this can be passed on to a Cerbera owner?

Dont forget that it takes a couple of weeks to put it on retention and get the V5 etc back.

Just to put some perspective on plates, myprivate plate on my old cerb was
C13RBE and it cost me £250 from the DVLA not including transfer fee

weird, plates direct from the dvla include the £80 transfer fee!
