Does anyone know if it is possible to fit 19" alloys to my 4.5 Cerbera? If so, what would be the tyre sizes?

I have fitted 18" Ace wheels with 225/35 on the front with 255/35 at the back. The rear has no clearance problems but with the 18" on full lock you can just about get your fingers through the gap with the inner leading edge. Not sure what 19" would be like, but there is no harm in trying and seeing what the clearance is like. If you clear everything on the body at full lock at at full bump then 19" will go.

At least one person has done this.
I saw a picture of the car at TVRBodyshop.

Tyre sizes are up to you, with the obvious constraint that you keep the circumference of the tyre similar to that on 18s.

Campbell,

I remember reading in sprint that another wheel change was scheduled to reduce unsprung mass as much as anything. Which superlites did you go for and what sort of weight (saving) are we talking about compared with a 'normal' (18" spider?) wheel.

Cheers,

Dave.

Hi dont know the saving over spiders but i stuck the previous 19" on the bathroom scales (very technical ) and the superlites showed about 2kg per wheel less
