Joy of joys, I'm back on the road again.

10 weeks after I dropped her off for a 1000 mile oil change she is back with new engine block and reworked head.

Not been the luckiest of ownerships. Engine having been out 3 times since I bought it in March of this year, but it now has a 2 yr warranty with TVR Power.

Anyway, I had forgot how good it sounded. When it chugged out of the workshop, the sound was enough to distract me long enough for Dom to prise some money out of me. Fantastic! Trouble is, it is now so well balanced, I am not getting the pops and bangs from overrun that I used to. Not that I should be dumping the clutch into a lower gear whilst running in, but who has not purposely let theirs do the sam whilst passing admiring glances. My local pub smoker's pen being one of my favourite release sites.

Now need to mumble the cost to the missus and get her enticed into the tunnel run at the weekend and IOM next year.

Did you give a cheery wavey to my old Blue one smile

Please tell me it's gone up in flames.

Glad yours is back, I haven't been over there for a while.

How many are sitting their "engineless" these days ?

I'm going to ask him to leave it out & throw a Molotov cocktail at it laugh

Your' engines been out three times in eight months ? yikes

At least you've given them some practice, should make mine coming out quicker/cheaper paperbag

Have they attached quick release bungees to your bonnet or do they think it's stopping in as a permanent fixture smile

Too many pops and bangs = poor tune/air leak, not enough pops and bangs = no fun hehe.

If you are running the car in then you wont be going over 3K revs and so wont get the pops.
