well as some of you may know iv been looking for a cerbera for a while and have finally put down a deposit on a 4.5 in champagne (its on ebay and pistonheads & auto trader) with the headlamp conversion, looks amazing!
Anyone know anything about it? iv not seen it in the flesh yet & have never driven a cerbera so im like a kid at christmas!
If there is anyone near junction 27 on the m6 that knows lots about cerberas that would be willing to come with me on monday to have a look i would be in your debt, as a plan b, what to i need to look for? its from a dealer & comes with 3 months warranty with full service history etc.
Looking forward to owning one of the most beautiful & quick cars!

Same colour as mine, which just happened to be third quickest Cerb at FT this year. So I supose it is pretty slow. thumbup

Nothing to panic about smile

Looking at his threads I don't think he went to see it.

May be worth dropping him a line via his profile.

There are a million things to check and there are a thousand people better at telling you what to look for than me.

I looked at four, the first didn't feel 'sure' in the steering, the second's engine sounded 'lumpy' the third was pretty good and drove well but it was Rolex Blue (i.e. PURPLE !!). the fourth I bought off the garage ramp without ever having driven it ! I was completely stupid but ended up with a gorgeous, reliable car.

What I'm trying to say is go by 'feel' of the car and the attitude of the owner but in the end it'll just come down to luck. Just read this to see what I mean.

Best o' Luck

Finally got time to go and see it today, beautiful colour, really suits the car. Few paint blemishes but nothing to worry about. Interior very tidy, cloth round the helmet holder and rear parcel shelf rather than leather but a few alloy bits inside and generally in very good order.

SOOOOOOOO, liked the look of it, even persuaded my Mrs we could manage to get it as a 3rd car, go and talk to the guy...... "oh sorry, there's a bloke from Scotland put a deposit on it" HELLO BRAKEDUST!! wavey

Should have got my arse in gear sooner, she's tidy, been well looked after, all the bills from over the years. One thing to look out for, shes only done a few hundred miles in the last 12 months....not sure why. The spiders are copies and not the best i've seen. The battery was on charge but I guess that will just be lots of opened doors etc.

Tidy car, i've left the guy my card in case our friend from Scotland doesn't show! HELLO BRAKEDUST!! hehe

I'm not around tomorrow i'm afraid otherwise I would have come with you and told you it was a dog!

Good luck, i'm only very VERY jealous!

Edited to add - Dealer not RENOWNED locally for customer care either pre or post sale so make sure you are firm with them!

spider copies? Why would anyone bother? They are cheap wheels in the first place (£50 each by manufacturer). I havent heard of them being copied before. What makes you say they are copies?
