Whats the latest on the Phoenix Cerbera? Anyone spoken to Ash lately?

Ash is an emotional chap. He also started another cerb project with his Ricer engine.
No idea if he has given up, I suspect he might have given up OR his garage might have given up. But knowing Ash he will probably find a way to get it going again (as opposed to actually finishing it). He should have gone LS power with a blower.

With 2 LS engined cerbies now on the road this would appear to be the sensible option for the phoenix build, but since when has Ash taken the sensible option lol .. I suspect if the project keeps going it will still have some almighty goodness-knows-what powerplant in there

I thought it was well on the way to being finished. Surely he wont have thrown the towel in after all the work thats gone into it.

When i last spoke to Ash the engine was just a huge box of bits and pieces and no where near completion with a shed load of more money needed to complete, and he did confide in me just how much he had spent up to now, and all i will say, most of us would have found a rope and a strong branch by now!

That was my train of thought too. Hope it does get completed, as i'd love to see, I mean hear, a radically reworked AJP8 on the road

Come on Ash. Forget all the other projects and put everything into finishing the ultimate Cerbera!

The Ricer is almost finished and looking excellent.
The Phoenix may yet rise from the ash'es!
