Ive recently sold my Sagaris due to Mr Tax man! Anyway I am able to bounce back into TVR ownership a lot faster than I had first thought and shall be hoping to have one again by spring '08. biggrin

Ive decided that the Cerbera is the TVR I want to next own as it was the car that first got me hooked on the marque, and it also has 4 seats so it can be enjoyed as a family for the odd weekend away smile

I haven't decided between the 4.2 or 4.5 just yet, I like the idea of the 4.2 as it was the 'original' Cerbera but I need to investigate the reliability of the early AJPs, either way ill be buying on the quality of the car rather than the spec, im looking to have change out of £18,000ish.

So if anyone knows of any really good clean examples or if you are thinking of selling in the next few monthes please let me know.

Thanks
Lee

Wayne,

If you are after a top spec, well looked after Cerb then the one for sale in my last post is the one to go for. I can more than vouch for it having been its previous owner.

Was looking for a newer car, with low mileage, while spending 25K-ish. Email me more details about yours.

Thx Jappo (Wayne)

I think the important thing is to go and have a look at a few. I did and found 2 that were superb. They weren't the newest, nor did they have the lowest mileage (far from it) but they had received the "correct" attention over time and I felt either would provide me with a lot of fun with none of the hassle some of them can give.

I was right too. I kept an eye on the one I didn't buy and it seems to have behaved perfectly until the owner sadly recently sold it.

Mine's been fabulous too but to say any more on that borders on a sales pitch which isn't allowed on the forums.

Anyway, by looking at a few you can work out for yourself the good ones. You'd be daft to limit yourself to one or two. I saw 4 plus another in a showroom. I also read this forum from end to end (took a couple of weeks but definitely worth it). These cars can easily cost you a fortune to run if you buy the wrong one, but equally can cost you no more than any other sportscar costs to run. Some people even use them as daily drivers which proves they are not fundamentally flawed.

LOL. smile

Hope it goes to someone with a bit more time than I have/had and as much enthusiasm as people show on this forum.

Someone *on* this forum would be best I suppose. Keeps the car in the family.
