basically one of my wipers came loose last night and they met, I assume burning out the motor. I've checked the fuse and it's fine so I assume the motors burned out. Does anyone have the right part number so I can order one up? i've done a search and some people saw the mini one fits but the gearbox has to be swapped or something. Is it likely the gearbox and mechanism is wrecked too???

Make sure you get a 27w motor and not the 14w.

I know that original motors are about £250 on exchange eek

The mini motor is very different. I made the mistake of saying it was the same, when infact my mini had a Cerbera motor fitted!

If I were you I would look at getting the motor rebuilt, it shouldnt be that expensive.

The motor that you are looking for is the 29 watt version, I remanufacture these for the TVR world, and have the bought the stock from the OE suppliers, and £202 full remanufactured exchange (it does not matter that the gear has melted or armatures are burnt out as these are replaced).
