She lives once more!!
Discussion
After what seems like an eternity, and an endless stream of consequential failures, the TVR finally works!
My mechanic chappie fitted the new clutch pipe last night and bled the system for me, so I cheekily took a couple of hours off this morning and went and finished off (reconnecting electrics, refitting airboxes, putting the various heat shields and splash-guards back on), and it all fired into life on the first time of asking (albeit with an initially worrying cloud of smoke from under the bonnet, which I quickly decided was hydraulic fluid on the exhaust). Went for a celebratory burble around the block to satisfy myself that everything was hunky-dorry, and everything checks out AOK. Huzzah!
I seem to be on a bit of a roll, as I also managed to fix the electric motor in our washing machine last night, as well as the power shower in the guest bathroom. In the spirit of making hay while the sun shines, I'm going to get the CV boots done this weekend, before dropping the car off for its 6k service. Other than a few cosmetic and elective jobs, that'll be my current list sorted, and I can actually get on with driving the bloody thing! Huzzah, huzzah and thrice huzzah!

Know how you feel.
Wish I could say all my gremlins have been booted over the hedge but to get rolling again is a joy.
Hope that nothing manifests at the 6k. My butt cheeks get clenched tighter everytime I drop mine off. MOT tomorrow - that should set me back £10k or so!
I like to think it is money well spent leaving a healthy TVR legacy to generations to come. Complete bollox of course but makes me feel a smidge happier
