I have a fault that is causing the radio, cooling fans, rev counter not to work and the battery warning light is on, the battery is a1 fully charged no fuses have blown either. Help. The battery connections are clean and tight, i guess it could be an earth fault but where.

Have you checked out the big 100amp fuse for corrosion or an iffy connection.

Remove the rear shrouding and look down the back of the engine. It's the small black block with thick wire going in/out.

It's a really common fault that the vibrartion/momement causes the fuse to fracture around it's posts, making an intermittant or poor connection.

Usual symptoms are erratic speedo, very slow wipers etc etc.

Some people have changed it's location, some have changed it's type as well. Steve heath has a Midi style fuse holder as the fuses look a little more robust.

I stuck a picture of the location on a post some time back.

There were some more pics on that thread also.

Have a search and you should find it.
