I noticed a supercharger kit was sold in the classified for a Speed 6. Does anyone have any experience of supercharging 4.5 and are kits available?

I think TC looked into super/turbocharging/NOS. He'll be along soon no doubt.

I never got very far before my sensible head kicked in and I realised supercharging was probably going to more money than I wanted to spend. There has been one at least done but don't know where it is, I think it might have gone Europe. The major cost is the blank sheet development and head scratching as far as I know, once done successfully I think a kit could be produced for reasonable sums. You could try speaking to Matt at Silverstone Performance, he murmured to me once that it might be something they will be looking at, I'd be interested again if they did, maybe if we approach them en masse biggrin

I think nitrous is the way to go. Once I have worked out what I'm gonna do with the throttle bodies(modded 4.2s or 4.5 setup) then I'm having the nitrous setup fitted.

What kind of power does a Cerb 4.5 produce with a supercharger? It must be mind bogglingly fast?

Reading from some of Phil,s(BossCerbera)Journels on the Boss.I think he was going to go down this route while the car was in build. But from what i read supercharging created enormous amounts of heat under the bonnet and coupled with the cooling problem would have meant extensive development work.I thinks thats why he went ahead with the 5.0ltr build.I'm sure at some point he will be along to explain it properly.
