I had to remove the relay box bellow while I was refiting some cooling pipes. Im not 100% Ive put the relays back correctly, could you have a look and see which two they should be in please? Also should there be 3?

Im not sure if all cerberas have the relay box thing I have, could have been retro fitted with the light conversion.

Look at the balsa wood cover for it.

Never seen that on any cerbs Ive worked on before .. maybe something done at a bodyshop for a light conversion rather than OE fit by TVR. Do you know who did the conversion, if so ask them?

I think it could be the light conversion, I'll check the history and phone them.

Its located near the power steering bottle, above the radiator inlet.

I would think that would most certainly be for the lights. Just try them… if they do not work properly, then re-arrange until they do, or add another relay to the empty slot. I have looked at adding a relay setup to my lights (conversion fitted, but running off the original wiring)

The general idea is to use the original feed to the bulb to power a relay up that switches a power supply to the bulb directly from the battery, thus curing the voltage drop inherent in feeding the bulbs from a black box in the boot. The lights are then much brighter.

Logically you would have one relay for dip beam and one for main. The 3rd relay position could well be designed to switch both dip and main on at the same time when you select main beam, as under the standard system dip goes out when main comes on. Perhaps by adding a 3rd relay you will enable this function. (but don’t blame me if something goes bang!!)
