Door Seals....
Discussion
They haven't been available for years IIRC... the new type are real swines to fit and may also require a change the window control software so unless they are leaking I would leave alone. Took the best part of a day to remove the old ones and fit the new replacement including having to rivet the seal in place.
Because the new seals are thicker and the controller raises the window on a time basis. The thicker seals slows the window down so for the same time, it doesn't quite close. The new software/controller extends this time so that the window shuts correctly. The time period is set by the internal code in the micro - hence new controller or micro.

Think i have a mix on mine. Drivers side opens and closes window very slow, never quite closing up all the way until alarm is set. Passenger side window files up and down, no problems at all...
I have exactly the same symptom. I think I have tracked it down to to the rubber channel that the glass slides in. It is meant to be covered with a sort of fuzz to help the glass slide. Mine had worn off on the driver side - but not on the passenger side (more use!) The glass was really dragging on the smooth rubber. I have replacement fuzzy rubber (from Clever Trevor I think) that slips into the aluminium channel. I havn't replaced it yet - but have it planned for this weekend so I will let you know if it cures it.Tominski said:

It should do.My windows were a joke when I first bought my Cerb. Soooo slowwww. Ask Arebrec or Budaholic, who pulled the window up to close it a few times on tunnel runs

Replaced the window felt runners, and bingo, they were back to their former glory. The used guides were down to bare rubber.
Pretty easy to do too.

After spending &70 on new door seal, I find out that that was not the problem.
