Cutting out when hot

As above really, she starts fine and is ok for a few miles, then when at idle and she's hot the engine coughs and the revs drop off and she stalls or nearly does and when i try to rev it it then cuts out, its ok if i keep the revs up though, could it be the tick over? or something else?

fuel starvation of some kind, evaporation perhaps?

Bad sensor somewhere (lambda, MAF, or something)?

Air leak in the induction somewhere?

I suppose it could be the plugs, wrong type, wrong gap, perhaps?

So i need to look for a lose intake hose or something i guess, ill have a look tonight, cheers guys
