Anyone else got one of these, and do you get any grief from the authorities?

i've got a 1/2 to 3/4 size plate on the front of mine and have never been pulled over for it. It's been on the car for a year along with a "re-spaced" private plate :-)

I have a 3/4 size plate - never had an issues at all at any point. Been plenty of opportunities to be spotted too! biggrin

To be honest, I think you could get away with all sorts with a Cerb - the police just don't seem to worry about them the way they do about other cars.

Okay, if it's okay to start advertising and touting for business on here!

Email me, I can produce sticky, reflective number plates for a lot less than that!

Spoilt for choice!! Do either of you have a website where I can see what the spacing looks like. My plate is N33 LSL, moved over slighlty it looks like NEIL`S (N33L`S L)

Had one similar on my 306, got pulled by the wonderful Avon and Somerset plod. The comedians that they are.

"Is your plate for helicopters sir..." Oh my sides!!!

Anyway, told to sort it and got a vehicle retification note. Took it to Halfords, service manager said what a crock of shit it's fine laugh and £10 later I'm all legal again.

Was a personal plate as well. I beleive they have to warn you twice before being allowed to take a personal plate from you.

I drove mine daily for 9 months without a front plate after it fell off.

Didn't get any grief at all and had the added bonus of better cooling and anonymity :-)

I never realised how much it improves the look of the front end having a smaller number plate directly on the splitter. Looks sweet!

I've got mine in the same place and it's black 'n chrome letters , and never had any problems - well apart from the bored Traffic cop that pulled me 'cos of the plates , but only wanted to ask about Cerberas and to tell me he thought the car was awsome!!!. 2yrs no prob's. Touch wood!!!!

Hum, mine seems to always work the screws loose, probably the vibration. That and the angled spacers that TVR must have fitted means that once moving my numberplate points downwards at approx 15-20 degrees. smile
