Since parking my car outside for the first time in it's life, it rained last night, and this morning i noticed that the drivers footwell was under an inch of water :-(

I have no idea where it's coming in, but i think it's either over where the clutch peddle is or from the bottom door seal. - It had all the door seals replaced about a year ago i think.

Any suggestions? I've used 2 kitchen rolls so far, and it's still damp. - and it smells :-(

Thanks

Craig.

4. Brake master cylinder reservoir
5. Bolts securing bonnet stay rod bracket
6. Oil pipe union
7. Scuttle panel securing riv-nut
8. Brake block mounted on toe board
9. Grommets in floor pan
10. Bonnet release shaft
11. Windscreen
12. Bolts securing bonnet lock bracket
13. Door seals
14. Steering column bearing
15. Indicator side repeater

under the mat is a rubber gromet just in front of your seat that you can remove to drain the water(best to be facing uo hill). to get it properly dry though you will probably need a fan heater of discription.

Join the club! Have just spent 15min with the hose on over the car.
I replaced the door seals, recovered all the brake/clutch reservoirs etc and still it kept comimg. Now my friend has noticed while sitting in her, with me pouring the water on that its coming from the rubber seal that covers the door glass in the corner. It's indented and doesn't sit on the door seal tight. Water runs down via the roof onto the glass, then runs in through the indent and around the door seal down into carpet making it look like the seal that runs around the doors.
This is my next purchase .... http://www.racetechdirect.co.uk/product-subsection...

Hi Mick

Of course I don't mind, the more people that see these leaks lists the better at this time of year.

Regard
Simon.
