At speeds over 70mph the air entering my car pops the door windows out of their seals. I'm planning on completely blocking the hot air inlet and partially blocking the cold air inlet to see if it helps. I read a post on drilling the hot air fan box in the passenger footwell to turn the system into recirculation. I could not really unerstand the description of what and where to drill. Could someone maybe dedscribe is agin or post some pics of the drillings?

Thanks

also, what is the best way to block the air inlets, is it the foam in the wings? if so where is the best place to put the foam filler, at the front, in the middle over the arch or........

They sell foam footballs at toys r us. I think it might fit the wing cavity perfectly. I'll report back.

This is how it looks if you stand on your head in the footwell, so the poor cutting doesn't show...

This is what the kick pannel looks like removed.

This is the hole cut in the inner wing.

I used car washing sponges & expanding foam to seal the inner wing. It works well till I get to 60 ish then the cold air pressure opens the cold valve & leeks cold into the mix, so the idea of partially blocking the cold feed is a good one. How ever I find in the summer there is a lack of cold air flow... So I was thinking of fitting an extra fan for that & a control on the cold air valve for the winter.

Many, many thanks. With pictures like this everything becomes clear. Today I fixed my 'windows popping out of seals at speed' problem. See separate post.
