Saw a lovely black (could've been dark blue) cerb heading towards Fleet/Odiham from Farnham/Hale yesterday (I think).

We passed you in the opposite direction in the yellow and green Westfield whilst you were waiting at traffic lights.

Anyone on here?

Was there a gorgeous blonde in the passenger seat and two v. hot kids in the back? If so, that would have been me!!! I was previously stuck on the M25 , things getting a little hot so dodged off and hit the side roads. Saw you too!

Another 10 miles on and you would have seen my 4 year old son throw up all over the back of my seat!!!!!

It's black BTW

Lovely, how easy was it to clean?

Thought it was, was looking through some of the member profiles and some of the blues look more black so wasn't sure.

Absolutely stunning car

Thank you. I love that car!!!

Sick - well wasn't as bad as I expected when I was sat in the front! I'll spare you the detail, but let's just say it was 'more lump than liquid'!! A few baby wipes later and as good as new, but gives me a good reason to clean the leather properly....

The best bit of the day for me was driving around the M25 with the other side of the road at a complete standstill and everyone out of their cars and sitting on roofs and the central reservation. I just cruise past at about 3,000-4,000rpm in whatever gear and take my foot off to watch them all jump about 3 feet in the air as the exhaust pops and crackles like a Spanish Carnival!!

Childish, maybe..... but it made me grin everytime!!

Me too

At least you didn't have sick stains left on the leather!!!

Not at all, I'm sure it's in the Cerbera handbook

Seeing your Cerb made my day, despite being in the Westfield, I WILL own a Cerb just like yours when I have the money.

Could I direct you to THIS THREAD, would be good to see it again if it's not too far of a journey for you.

Luckily most of the cerb interior is actually vinyl. The only leather bits are the perforated ones on the seats and the centre 'armrest'. Also the steering wheel might be leather.

Only telling you this so you don't do what I did. Use loads of autoglym leather cleaner and food only to be told the interior is vinyl. AARRGGHHH!!!

Full hide? B*llocks more like.

I'll keep my I on the thread and once there's a confirmed date I'll be able to check the 'house diary'! FWIW I can't do the first two weeks in August!

cheers

Thats why the baby wipes did the job so well!! Luckily his T-shirt caught most of it!!

Autoglym leather cleaner still gets the cr@p off nicely. But I see what you mean about feeding it - a bit like a pencil with no lead!!

pointless!

My full hide IS full hide. I assume people try and pass off cars that are half hide as full hide.

Gary,

Mine is full hide as well but I reckon if you took it to a coachbuilder/upholsterer you would find out the ugly truth.

I haven't done this myself but someone else on here has, and hence I checked my car, and I reckon the seat backs 'feel' different to the perforated fronts.

Also if you look at the new cerbies at a dealer the vinyl (or whatever they used to fake the leather) has been replaced by bison in places. Don't want to rain on anyones parade but I reckon they are all like this, but please prove me wrong I don't want to believe it either.

I have half hide (basically means cloth on the door insides and top of back seats) in mine. I think the seat sides are vinyl. However, as I'm not sure I've bought some Gliptone to give the whole lot a feed. Can't see that it will do any harm?
