Clearingf CEL Light

Since replacing my Alternator my CEL light has been beeping at me when I put ignition on but goes off when car starts.
I know its because I started the car with an injector plug put not seated correctly, but how do I reset the error codes on this car??

Not sure what the CEL is but if you mean the engine MIL light and the buzzer. It should be constantly buzzing until the engine starts and should only turn off at that point.

Sorry... MIL not CEL...

Just dont remember it buzzing before...

In quite a lot of cerbs it doesn't.

However the ECU def seems to want it on til the car starts.

I remeber the last time I had mine out that there was a small inline fuse soldered to the back of the dash and a pot for loudness.

I had assumed on Cerbs this didn't happen on, the fuse had blown or the pot was turned right down.

When I press the black button below the wheel certain low level systems start. Then I press the key fob and the fuel pump runs, MIL light comes on and a buzzer starts sounding. Then I press the black button, the car starts and the buzzer turns off.
