Emergency door release cable

Hi Guys/Girls

Anyone changed one of these door release cables?

I've looked at replacing a broken one on the passenger side but can't get to it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Easier just to replace the inner and use the original sheath , Dave

Hi Dave, Happy New Year to you!

Trouble is I can't get to it, when I bought the car, some 3 1/2 years ago now, the red handle was already missing and i assume there is no cable their either? I've stripped off the carpet and it looks like it is all bonded in with no access. Can you tell me how to replace the inner cable using the orignal sheath? Also do you have a spare red handle knocking about that I can borrow from you

New cable with a red handle, push it down the old hole and tie off at the end behind the seat belt after attaching to the door catch.
