i have just washed her for the first time since before christmas and tried to start her up for the first time in the same duration.
i also fiited a new battery just before xmas.
why wont she start?
there is the normal whurr (fuel pump?) then a lot of clicking from the control box or immobiliser area when trying to start.
the alarm also chirped at me when i put the alarm back on to come inside, its never chirped before, is this a sign of something else.

Flat battery, not used for 2 weeks it'll drain that quite happily.

I now have a solar trickle charger. Best £12 I have spent on her. Screw to garage wall, plug into lighter scoket. Bingo! As soon as I touch the starter button I can feel the battery is burting with energy.

Definately battery, I put a new one on mine before christmas and it still loses enough charge in a week to not turn the engine over fast enough to start. Windows are also slow, the fuel pump sounds slow too. Trickle charge is the way.

Hi All

Strange how some Cerbs drain batteries really quick if left standing. My 5yr old one will still start the car after standing for 2 weeks but even so I still keep it pluged into the Accumate to keep the battery tip top.

Regards
Simon.
