...is there a technique to getting the panel in front of the engine out? Obviously have removed the airboxes and pipes, do I need to disconnect the radiator top hose to get it out without bending it? To date I've mananged to squeeze the hose and flex the panel but it creaks rather alarmingly!

Thanks

I've manage to take it out several times by just removing the top of the air filter box and the hoses that are attached to it.

It's a squeeze (and you need to bend it a bit) but you should be able to manage it without disconnecting the rad hoses, etc.

It does come out with a bit of flexing - honest

Thanks for the responses, I have been flexing it and squashing the hose to remove it. Just checking if that is the standard route, worrying in case the panel might break!
