Can someone tell me the make and model of a battery that will fit properly in the Cerb. The last one I had needed filing down so it fitted. I don't want that hassle again and thought one of you guys could help. I've done a search for 072 batteries but they don't give dimensions. Any help appreciated.

I just fitted an 072 battery and it fitted perfectly. Cannot remember the make, but I got it from the local tyre place. It was a Halfords one which came out, so that should fit, I guess. I am told that the dimensions are defined by the model number, so any 072 battery should fit, but...

By the way, the suppliers had 2 guides which both stated a different battery for the Cerbera (I was surprised that it was in the guides at all) Both of these were wrong!

Totally agree - I did exactly the same. Tayna were great and the battery is excellent.

Since it's a little smaller than the original that I had in there, I found some single sided expanding foam tape to give it a comfy seat and to stop it moving at all, as well.

I've found 072's to be : 278mm X 175mm X 190mm 20.9kg
at 680 crank amps

and 068 is 266mm X 175mm X 220 19.5 kg at 535 crank amps

Halfords changed the size of their 072 a while ago, the new ones don't fit.
