hi all there is a 4.2 cerb engine for sale in the classifieds

Last time I looked, there were three. One in the "cerbera cars" section & 2 in the "tvr parts" section. When you get there, select "filter" then type " engine"

I think they were all around the £2.5k mark.

I ought to pay more attention to the op. I thought you was after an engine..... Doh. What makes you think it's your old engine Dan ?

Also, what was wrong with your old one, I thought it was just the body that took a pounding ? smile

My dad put yellow tape around some f the HT leads that needed to b changed before he crashed it, that enough?

I can't see any yellow tape round HT leads on the picture in the classifieds.

Darren is extremely well known in TVR racing and is absolutely straight up. If anyone is interested in the engine then I'm sure he'd disclose its source as a matter of course.

Its not exactly expensive is it, and will all the ancillaries even as a source of spares its a good deal!

not yours then as there is no tape on ht leads and that is the best way to lift engine as weight is spread on eight bolts not four(you learn this after ten years of racing tuscans)
