Getting the Cerb back tomorrow
Discussion
It'll be a sleepless night tonight! After about 3 weeks or so, I'm finally getting her back tomorrow and I am really excited
As some of you know, I bought her last year from TVR (via HHC). She'd done about 4,000 miles at the time and drove absolutely superbly - in fact like no other TVR I've ever driven. From what I've since discovered, the car spent most of its really early days ferrying Nikolai Smolenski out to Vienna and back, but was then stood for a while. I was assured by David Oxley (indirectly) that it had been Pdi'd, and had been serviced at 1,000 miles, etc, etc and that they would stamp some pages up and get them out to me along with the spare keys, but almost 8 months later I was still waiting. I was reliably told that Heath has done some work on the car - which gave me a bit more confidence.
Anyway, as she was coming to her first birthday, I thought I would get the guys at TVR Centre to give her the full 12k works - despite the mileage even now only being 4,500 miles.
Whilst there, I've also had a new SPA electronic water temp gauge fitted to the centre air vent (as the useless mechanical one keeps giving me heart failure!) and a tiny bit of paintwork done on the chin, an additional key programmed into the cars system, and a few other little things.
I just cannot wait..... Keep your eyes peeled tomorrow, I think she'll be out for a big run!
