Just got the car back from the garage the other day (fuse blown between the alternator and battery) as I parked up I noticed a wisp of smoke enter the cabin from either the gear stick or handbrake. Has this happened to anyone else before? If so what were the implications?
Cheers
Probable a gearbox oilseal/gasket allowing oil to drop onto the hot exhaust. I think this requires the gearbox to come out to fix.

yes...this happened to me about a month ago.
It turned out to be quite a large oil leak coming from the cam-covers. The oil was dripping onto the hot exhaust and the smoke was finding it's way into the cabin towards the front of the gear stick.
