Hi All

Anyone have any recommendations for ordering some T1R's online? Black Circles don't seem to list them any more. Any help appreciated.

Regards
Simon.

Think you will find T1R's have been superceeded by a different tyre or least a different number, so you may have difficulty in obtaining that particular one. Do a search as Im sure this has been discussed recently.

Yep - I think the R has become an S. Just had to replace one of mine due to a puncture repair going wrong and could not get a tr1 anymore. Unfortunately while Toyo state that the types are compatible and will run side by side they do have a slightly different tread pattern. So, my other side is being replaced next month as I just can't live with the difference.

For a 255 35 18 I paid £164 fitted at my local (chap around the corner) garage, not sure if that is a good or bad price but I was in a hurry.

Another vote for Camskill.

2 x 225/40/18 (front)
2 x 255/35/18 (rear)

Delivered next day for £418

I went for the 40 series on the front as I think they look a bit better than the 35 on the wheel. I have had no issues with rubbing etc...

It appears it's the other way round, the T1S has been superceeded by the T1R.

Camskill seem very competetive at £107 each for my fronts (225/35ZR18)

Thanks for replies all

You are right, I was getting my r and s wrong. Had an s now got an r and will be getting another t1r to replace my t1s in the next few weeks.

These two links have reviews and show the difference in tread I was talking about:
