HELP!!!! I'm locked out in a new and annoying way!
Discussion
I have been fiddling with the wiring in this area or a while trying to track any potential problems that may have caused my last door/window ecu to die.
Anyhow, to open the divers door just connect up the blue/green and blue/orange wires (PIN B3 and B2) from the J47 connector to a battery and it will fire the solenoid and open the door. In my experience you won’t need to get a 12v car battery just a duracell 9v battery will have enough juice to pop the door open. If the solenoid fires but the door doesn’t unlock reverse the wires (it was pushing instead of pulling).
J47 is the smaller (not the big long one) connector going into the door/window ecu that has blue wires in not the same size one with yellow wires in.
Hope this helps.

You only discovered where the battery was last year.

Only kidding, but I would be very wary if Nick approaches your car with a 9V battery.

I'm afraid I can't help with this but for those of us who have our cars in a garage it's advisable to open the bonnet catch when parking it as I've had the battery in mine flatten and had to get in the "secret way".
Now I leave it with the bonnet open so I can power it up via the battery if needed.
Not much use for those who park outside I know.
Oh, and apologies for going a bit off-topic.
