Finally, took the train down to Devon to pick up my car today. They've done a great job - engine bay looks factory fresh. It starts on the button, everything seems to work, new windscreen with subtle top tint, purple pipes, ht leads, wiper stuff, battery, expansion tank, bonnet fixing rods, and all the bodywork under the screen and around the battery, fresh MOT from Dulfords. Cruised back along the A303 in the sunshine, water 82c, oil 70psi. Fantastic. My 4 year old was very excited to see it in the garage, she gave the wing a hug cloud9

After 7 months of pining, life is good again. smile

Now to put on the new spiders and shinynuts, book it in for a 12k and organise a meeting with Joo for some long awaited fettling. I've even treated it to a new reg from DVLA as a coming home present smile

Many thanks to Graham at Alansway and the guys at Dulfords for lending their specialist knowledge..

Excellent news Rog thumbup

Maybe we need to organise a little southern Cerb gathering or something to welcome it back. A weekend run down to Goodwood for brekkie one day or something, anyone up for it ears

Hi Nicky wavey

Ian, you're not still thinking those crazy thoughts I hope. Don't do it. Put the phone down and step away from the classifieds...

So we need a joint "Rog's car returns biggrin and Ian's Swansong cry" run then... and soon.

As time may be a factor, can you chaps do Saturday 1st March by any chance? Was going to do a Sunday but the 2nd is a Brekkie Club day, which we could do but it will be harder to get a good brekkie and also it's mothers day so gonna be a bh to get a pass for for some of us. Much later than that weekend may mean Beanzy has sold his motor. There is also some track day stuff that day I think, Top Hat racing (pre-65 stuff) to watch on track after some scram.

If it's a yes from you two then will stick up a new thread, if not then chuck out some dates and we'll see what matches.

You doing the GP Circuit with Goldtrack then Graham?? Was eyeing it up myself as it's a good price. Did mention to Phil about maybe arranging a little Cerb track thing for Silverstone soon, maybe getting SP to throw in a free geo check or something during the day - haven't got any further with that at the mo though so you have beaten me to it you bugger.

Erm, anyway back on track. 8th also works for me (although I have to be home by about lunchtime) but its Ian and Rog who need to agree and we need to make sure we do it before Ian sells.

I'm free on the 1st or 8th at the mo'. biggrin

Oh, and for some reason potential buyers are getting the impression that I'm not keen to sell, so I MAY be "stuck" with it for a while! hehe
