I'm in the process of changing my dead battery for a shiny new one - this is upsetting the alarm system somewhat for obvious reasons. If anyone knows how to shut the thing up - and or any hints on getting the battery out then I'd be very grateful.

Obviously anything regarding the alarm please email me through my PH id, rather than post here

Many thanks

Mine started squealing its head off when I changed my battery. I just ignored it,, swapped the batteries over, and then switched it off with the keyfob.

I imagine it annoyed the neighbours a bit, but then it annoys them when I start the engine at 7:30am every morning, so a little car alarm squealing ain't gonna hurt biggrin

Lots of topics on this one search battery replacing, but I found if you press the blipper (making it start your engine status) before you pull off the battery connections the alarm should keep quiet. Hope this helps!
