It's time again to attend to those jobs that are next on the list...before the warm weather(?)
So, does anyone know the best place to source the following for a '99 4.5 AJP8:-

1. Full set of water coolant hoses
2. Oil cooler
3. 2 x front axle nose cone bushes
4. full set of valve shims
5. wiper arms

Iny advice will be appreciated.

Thanks

1: Tim @ ACT - stainless steel ones, false economy to fit anything else IMHO
2: Think automotive
3: What's that then? I'm rebuilding my suspension at the moment, and I'm beginning to think I've missed something?
4: TVR Power - you'll need to know the sizes you want
5: Arms, or blades? There are some nice reengineered blades with washer jets on ebay for around £20.

I'm with the others on no. 1.
A good purchase along with the silicone hoses and better quality jubilee clips. And you can have different colours smile

For no. 4, the Leven ones are a good replacement - you can get both the arms and wipers. Having said that, one of my washer jet bits has just fallen off the wiper! I need to glue it back on. The other one is sound though.

OK, I only beleive what I'm told, apparently the "2 x front axle nose cone bushes" are the bushes that are on either side of the car towards the front of the rear axle to which two flanges are fixed either side of the vehicle supporting the rear diff and propshaft. Hope that's clear, but if anyone has a photo, I'll confirm what I mean.

Thanks for your help guys.

That'll be the diff mount bushes, and there are 3, and, yes, Powerflex do sell them. http://www.nivek-styling.co.uk/pdfs/powerflex/TVR/...

Out of focus, but here's the diff mount (1 of 3):

Can I ask that you delete your double post on the 'Parts thread', oh btw, your question about the Oil cooler is answered about 3 posts before yours!

Phone him again. Tim's normally pretty good. Don't know if he has kids, but couldn't he have been away for half-term?

Just a thought.
