Yep ebay again http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...

A mate of mine asked me my opinion, I am not really that up on TVRs, my first response was to tell him steer clear, this is based on the lack of V5, Insurance paperwork and service history, but thought it might be worth posting just in case anyone knows the car.

Thanks

I'd be nervous of it.

However, for 5k (plus whatever it takes to finish it off and tidy it up) it'd be worth having it checked out by the people who do that sort of stuff.

I find one of the questions quite funny. " Would you accept £5000 ?"......."no, it needs to be £5250"

If the buyer is worried about paying £250 over the odds, he's buying the wrong car laugh

Just make sure the repair's been done by someone who knows fibreglass. Otherwise, the first speed bump you go over, will result in a load of cracks. smile

Unusual for a cerb to end up on a cat d, because of a rear end bump.

What's with the strange description porsche, kit car etc

Plus I think that's been around before as I seem to remember the pics of it.

Seems to be quite neglected though. That's heavy wear on the seat for 51K, no service history. It could end up costing a lot of money to fix hidden problems.

What worried me is that someone will buy it thinking it's a cheap spray job for a TVR, then find out its shagged.

There's a straight one in the classifieds at £9000, It makes the cat D car that needs finishing, look expensive IMO
