Hi All, thanks for the words of wisdom etc before I bought the cerb, picked it up yesterday Wooooo HOOOO !! awsome.
Usual few niggles to sort, main one is the wind noise from the door seals, and the howling gale coming in near my feet, but can forgive it those.

Check that the air vent in the footwell isn't open.

On the subject of wind noise, I get a sound a bit like trickling sand, coming from the door mirror area. Might be air rushing over the join in the mirror housing. Anyone else had that?

Sorry for the hi-jack and congratulations on your purchase thumbup

BCA, can I recommend a final year project involving the analysis of fluid flow dynamics over irregular surfaces and through flexible pipes?

(Coursework involves going for a blast in the cerb followed by a few jars in the pub) smile

Thats more of an extracurricular thing for me, one I always try to make time for. beer

The solution to the rustling sound has, I believe, already been explored by TVR - I just need an opportunity to prove it correct. May also help the window seals in general - its on my to-do list. smile

Good to hear you are enjoying the Cerbera.

I get mine in just over a week, as the drivers carpet needs to be repaired and it is booked into their workshop for chassis under seal and a wobbly disk.

I'll do a similar post after I get mine and catch my breath.

After studying this problem for exactly 16 months, I reached the conclusion it makes a diference if you poke the buttons near the radio... So, using a sample size of four, the odds are definitely 2:1 on being one of the buttons on the window side of the radio as they appear to me to be quite effective.

PS Welcome Allandwf. let's see a picture then

Wind noise through the doors - is your window all the way up? Mines started leaving a 1/4 inch gap when it shuts so I have to wind it up the last bit with the button.

as for the pics, out the url of the pic between ""

At 70mph and onwards theres wind noise generated around the wing mirrors/ a low pressure area near the front of the windows which I believe effectively pulls the window away from the seal a little... its not too bad and doesnt seem to get much worse with BIG speed, but its a minor annoyance which I believe to be cureable. smile

Edit: Cerb looks ace, nice fast colour too... biggrin
