Hi All

I get my Cerb in just over a week, so have been reading up here.

Just asking if anybody has fitted bonnet vents or louvers to improve air flow and cooling?

Or would it just ruin the looks?

Cooling seems to be its Achilles heal??

I once saw a Cerb withou the inner under bonnet panel. Was this removed to aid cooling??

Being an old un, I might need some help!

If everything 'cooling system related' is working as it should, then overheating isn't a problem, and theres no need to worry about adding additional louvres etc etc. You'll have enough to worry about without making things up ! smile

Thanks.
Seems I'm just worrying for no reason then?

Car will be going to Le Mans 24hr, Le Mans Classic and Angouleme Classic this year.
So was just wondering if preventitive measures would be a good idea.

Would the louvers stop the bonnet "flutter" I have seen/heard about??

Also, does the front number plate being across the intake cause problems.
Seems to me it could affect the air flow considerably?
I know my friends GT40 rep cools better if the plate is "tipped down" out of the way!

The cerb has vents on either side of the bonnet. I don't think it suffers from excessive engine bay heat.

Many thanks again.

seems time to put this louver thought out of mind now.

Little plate looks good, but would a "sticky" on the bonnet be better?

No, I'm pretty certain that it's a lot smaller.
