as per title,

Do decatted AJP cars smoke a bit at high revs and WOT? I notice some smoke sometimes in the rear view mirror if i boot it, for example, from 5000-6500rpm in second, should I worry or consider this normal?

Mine doesn't smoke .
The old one did, but it was very thirsty on oil aswell.

Cat or no cat, if the engine produces smoke, it will ALL come out of the exhaust pipe. The cat doesn't absorb anything, it just changes some molecules to others.

Engines produce smoke if they burn oil, or don't burn all the fuel. If you're not losing oil, then your mapping might be a bit rich at certain points.

Shouldn't do really.

Could be too much petrol in the mix. May need setting up using laptop etc...

Hi Nick, it's bliss isn't it laugh

I'm about to put my first oil in the Purple car, and that's done over 3500 miles. The Blue one should be back from it's rebuild soon.

I used to read with envy, other peoples lack of oil use..... I felt like an outsider, having to refill it on a weekly basis smile

Has yours been back for the 1000 mile service yet ?
