If you're looking at buying a full Powerflex bush kit for the Cerb' be very careful to check the contents carefully.

As some of you may have seen, one kit was supplied to me with incorrect internal bushes.

Credit to Paul @ Powerflex it was resolved very quickly and efficiently.

However, I was nearing completion of installation of the last few bits on Sunday only to discover that the rear ARB bushes were wrong! Aghhhhh!

Thankfully the old bushes were still good, so I cleaned them up and installed them instead, to get me out of a problem.

I have yet to contact Powerflex and I'm sure they will sort it very quickly. This is just a heads up to check bushes and don't assume that they're all correct.

Tim

Old bush on the left, nice purple, but wrong size powerflex one, on the right.

It's at TCS as we speak. Dropped it off Monday lunchtime as planned. biggrin Just wink

Should be picking it up towards the end of next week.

Wheels pointing in the right direction and a bespoke chip to keep the AJP sweet.

First outing will be Round 1 of the TVRCC Speed Championship on the 16th March at North Weald.

The big rear roll bar bush is for the later high mounted ARB, you'll need the chimaera spec bush for your early cerbera Tim.

Ta Joolz,

Does that mean I have the wrong drop links too? Is that why it didn't look like they would line up?

I've just ordered three rear diff bushes for the 4.5. Anyone know what size these should be so that I can check them prior to removing the old ones?

they'll be the right size, it's only the very early griffs that have a different sized diff bush, all other TVRs have the same sized bushes after that
