Would you let a stranger drive your Cerbera? Even if it is in Germany and it is the first time he drives a rhd car?. Well he owns a Triumph Spitfire and he wants to buy a Cerbera! But the possiblity to drive a Cerbera in Germany is not very big and I let him drive my Cerbera. First we started at a huge parking place without trafic and than on a big road, but not on an autobahn without speedlimit.

Everything was o.k. and after the testdrive he had a big smile in his face.

I´m shure a Cerbera will leave Uk during this year.

Cheers Johannes

I've only just got mine two days ago, so my ansewer is rather predictable.

NO!

There are only two of my friends I'd trust!

My answer would have been an absolute NO to anyone, had I not come to Cerb ownership through a friend kindly letting me drive his (on track too!). As a result, I'll now let a select few experienced (as sufficiently wealthy to pay for any damage!) friends have a shot.

I'd say as long as he's a friend and you let him know who's boss there shouldn't be a problem. Any worries can surely be sorted though if he takes out some insurance though?

When I was offered the chance to drive a car like this I took it - but totally respected the owner and car. There are a few things to watch out for apart from the performance which should be pointed out before a potential buyer gets behind the wheel though (wipers/indicators/handbrake/keep the revs up at low speed etc etc).

I let Paul from Nuneaton drive mine on Saturday, he's had A Cerb & Tuscan before and currently drives a 911 Turbo.

However, normally, over the phone I'd say no.

I'd try & judge what their driving experience is, and take it from there.

If they look like they're high on drugs, constantly sniffing, can't stand still, face full of scabs, are grinding their teeth or smell of glue/butane, keep them in the passenger seat smile

No no and no.

My friend has just spent the last 8 months putting a VW G60 engine into his MkI Golf, full respray, engine/charger rebuild the lot.

Had it running for two days, and one of his flat mates asked for a go.... you can probably guess how this ends.

The guy had no experience of powerful cars, and torque steered into a lamp post in Tesco's car park, body was a wreck.
