Out of interest in case I find myself with a Cerb soon?

Are they the same size as the standard 1998 wheels (I think not buy just in case). I do rather like the look of Spiders and personally think the car more than any other.

If you wish to change your wheels I would consider the Silverstone SP ones. New wheels and they look good. Alternatively you would need four front wheels from a Tuscan. Expect to pay anywhere between £400- £500 for Spiders with new SP's at about £850?

Nope you can get away with a proper set of rears usually as long as the car is not sat to low. I'll have a set of refurbed anthracite ones for sale soon with nearly new Eagle F1's on the rear.

Spiders are 18", standard wheels are 17s (like on the purple one in Newcastle).

When moving to spiders on Cerbs (which weren't designed for them) people often put on 4 x front spiders (18/225/35 or 18/225/40 tyres) but as said above you can use the spider rears (18/255/35 tyres) without fouling the rear arches, if the car isn't set too low.

I have the different front and rear spiders on my 1998 4.5 with no fouling issues. I run pretty much "factory" ride height.

Hi,
My rears foul, just. Think it pretty much depends on "your" car. they all seem to vary slightly.
You will also need stops on the steering lock or they will rub the wishbones on full lock.

I paid about £150 for a set of spiders.
Then £200 for refurb / exchange.
Plus tyres.

Spiders can be as much as £220 each new. With one scrapyard charging that much for 2nd hand when supply is low

They were fine and legit. I then paid £220 to swap them for refurbed ones from Part ex Wheels.
