Drivers door won't open with the interior button, but does open from the outside wing mirror button.

Is it a door trim off job, or can I prize the little black surround off to get access?

Cheers

Door trim off I'm afraid Marcus - Theres a multi pin connector inside there, give it a good clean up and check that none of the wores have broken off the connector pins.

The trim is easy to remove. Look under the door and there are some set screws with allen heads. Just undo these and the panel will lift up and pull off with a slight upward motion. You will need some Tiger seal or similar to re fix the rubber trim at the top of the door though after refitting.

What are we talking about now?

Hope you all managed to sort out your door release mechanisms.

I guess the whole sliding in and out of the window space "a la Duke of Hazzard" is just a myth about TVR drivers getting in and out of their cars, then? wink

Glad to hear it.

...Sliding in and out! I think anyone who could get out of that gap in under 5 minutes could get a hob as the Head contortionist in the Moscow State Circus laugh
