It was reported in Sprint (TVRCC Mag') that Melling was selling everything to do with the AJP and TVR.

I wonder if the IPR comes with the drawings, be good if they are bought to continue the AJP8 for the years to come and not filed away and never used.

What worries me about that advert is how can a brand new engine be missing rotating parts confused. That's sans crank and cams at least in my book, possibly more confused

So what's the difference between 'TVR AJP8' and 'Tuscan racecar AJP8' cylinder heads, apart from £250 per pair?

Ditto cylinder blocks where the Tuscan race version is priced at £100 more.

At a guess ported, flowed and skimmed.

I have one in my garage. Will be having another of my 'spare' heads machined to match

Ahh, I was wondering that as well. Whats the chance of borrowing one of those heads for a week to do some close measurements of and find out how far one can port the head without hitting something important. smile

Race engine blocks are different to the road car engines due to the dry sump design. The blocks are not interchangeable
