Which year did the headlights change?

Hi, just out of interest which year did the head light change come in,
Ive seen a couple with the twin lights in the oval housing but then they changed the front end with the lights set in.
Also whats the verdict on the twin upgrade?

Late 99 came the pod style lights with the Lightweight model revisions for the 4.2 and 4.5 (speed 6 came later I believe). Then the factory started to blend them in from late 2002. The standard is 3 lights - 2 large for main beam and dipped beam and 1 tiny for side light. All other variants have been done as aftermarket jobs.
