Hi all,

Just a thought, would be acceptable to use an air-jack on the Cerbera?

I'm thinking of the bag type which inflates from the exhaust. Its just such a hassle jacking the car with a standard trolley, it being so low etc.

I'm seeing Draper ones on Ebay for 30-40 quid.

Thoughts appreciated!

imho just not safe.

Buy the lo-height trolley Jack I posted about from Costco (also available on ebay) I thought this was going to be a posting about fitting air jacks on a Cerb' biggrin

Well they're used a lot by the LAnd Rover boys, dead handy for getting a side up quickly and effortlessly. Obviously you'd support it on stands once its up.

No CostCos here in Ireland!

You'd need to be very careful where you put it to avoid picking it up on the fiberglass since this won't be strong enough to take the weight. Get it wrong and the repairs could be very expensive. There are plenty of low jacks that can fit without resorting to air bags though.
