Nothing selling on ebay.

Interestingly nothing seems to be selling on ebay from the mystery rochdale guy. Is that PW or melling btw?

He seems to have set very high starting bids, and I would be surprised if someone bites at those prices but fascinated to see. 10K for a speed six engine , in an age where you can buy most of a speed six car for that money I don't see how he's gonna sell.

Anyone thinking of taking a punt. six 4.2 throttle bodies for development work to convert them to 4.5 use £500?

I've won a bid (2 weeks ago) for a set of 4.2 throttle bodies with the idea of porting them out to put on my late 4.2. My engine number starts with 450 so I'm hoping its one of those 'mysterious' late 4.2s.

Also, since I put decats on and its not happy at all aroud 2k rpm, despite several adjustments with the pots and stuff. I'm hoping to get a re-map in six months, but since jules won't remap a standard 4.2 I want to get the throttle bodies worked before I take it too him.

Time (and money) are the biggest factors. Have to see how it all works out.

Porting the 4.2 inlets is a very good move, and the beauty of being to live map both on the dyno and out on the road means you can get the bad running bits as good as possible.

I may be asking you questions about the best way to go about it. Ideally, I'd like to get a set of heads port matched to the intakes, but that is even more money.
